MOSTAQBAL Engineering & Environmental Consultants was appointed by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) to undertake the Consultancy Engineering Services for the preparation of the Feasibility Studies for Water Harvesting and Assessment of Water Supply Network at Baqa’a Camp.
As part of the scope of work, and in order to develop the feasibility study in a sustainable manner, it was necessary to conduct social studies to assess the current situation of the existing water networks from the locals’ perspective and the problems they are facing that need to be addressed within the development of the feasibility study.

This study represents the results of the social survey conducted in the project area for 429 households over a period of 5 working days by five teams covering most of the geographic area of Baqa’a Camp, in addition to the conclusions and recommendations for future consideration.
