Jordan Industrial Estates Company (JIEC) and MOSTAQBAL Engineering & Environmental Consultants signed, on Tuesday 1/24/2023, the engineering consultancy agreement for the supervision of construction for the first phase of Zarqa Industrial Estate project.

The engineering consultancy services provided include the supervision of construction for the development of 1,116 dunums (out of 4,700 dunums representing the total area of the city), which will be developed in several phases, in addition to the supervision of construction for the industrial buildings on an area of 22,000 square meters, with a total cost of 21 million Jordanian dinars.

The agreement was signed by the Director General of the Jordan Industrial Estates Company (JIEC), Mr. Omar Jwaid, and the General Manager of MOSTAQBAL Engineering & Environmental Consultants, Eng. Marwan Safadi.

Zarqa Industrial Estate project is considered as one of the most important strategic projects for Jordan Industrial Estates Company (JIEC) and comes within its executive plan for the years 2020-2025 and among the government’s priorities for the years (2021-2023), which aims to develop various regions of the Kingdom. Providing more job opportunities for Jordanian youth, in addition to making the Jordanian industrial estates the ideal environment for industrial investment through the investment benefits and support services that facilitate the work of industrial investments.Zarqa Industrial Estate project (located 30 Km to the east of Zarqa City towards Azraq and 15 Km from the free zone in Zarqa) is expected to attract many investments in different fields, such as food, chemical, packaging, engineering and other industries.
