Under the Land Acquisition Audit and SOPs Development Project, funded by the World Bank, and assigned by the Ministry of Education, MOSTAQBAL Engineering and Environmental Consultants conducted a training workshop for the Ministry’s staff.

The workshop focused on:
🔹 Presenting the results of the land acquisition audit for educational infrastructure projects.
🔹 Training participants on the newly developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
🔹 Differentiating between various land acquisition methods, including government-owned land, direct purchase, donation, land swaps, and expropriation.
🔹 Clarifying the differences between Jordanian regulations and World Bank standards, particularly OP 9.00 and ESS5.
🔹 Reinforcing key principles such as fairness, transparency, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with environmental and social safeguards.

We extend our appreciation to all participants for their active engagement and reaffirm our commitment to supporting transparent land acquisition practices for educational development in Jordan.

ورشة تدريبية حول إجراءات استملاك الأراضي – وزارة التربية والتعليم

في إطار مشروع تدقيق استملاك الأراضي وإعداد الإجراءات التشغيلية القياسية (SOPs)، والممول من البنك الدولي، والمُنفذ من قبل شركة مستقبل بتكليف من وزارة التربية والتعليم، تم تنفيذ ورشة تدريبية لموظفي الوزارة.

ركزت الورشة على:
🔹 عرض نتائج تدقيق عمليات الاستملاك في مشاريع البنية التحتية التعليمية.
🔹 تدريب المشاركين على الإجراءات التشغيلية القياسية (SOPs) المُعتمدة.
🔹 توضيح طرق الاستملاك المختلفة مثل: الأراضي الحكومية، الشراء المباشر، التبرع، المبادلة، والاستملاك الإجباري.
🔹 تسليط الضوء على الفروقات بين التشريعات الأردنية ومعايير البنك الدولي، وخاصة OP 9.00 وESS5.
🔹 التأكيد على مبادئ العدالة، الشفافية، مشاركة أصحاب المصلحة، والالتزام بالمعايير البيئية والاجتماعية.
