رعى وزير المياه والري المهندس رائد أبو السعود في مكتبه بحضور امين عام سلطة وادي الأردن المهندس هشام الحيصة وامين عام سلطة المياه المهندس وائل الدويري ورئيس هيئة مديري شركة مياه العقبة محمود النعيمات ومدير عام الشركة المهندس مالك الرواشدة و وفد من مكتب المياه والبيئة للوكالة الامريكية للتنمية الدولية لتوقيع مجموعة من الاتفاقيات التنفيذية بمنحة مقدمة من الوكالة الامريكية للتنمية الدولية ضمن سلسلة مشاريع الـ (FARA) تحت برنامج خفض الفاقد المائي العامل في جميع أرجاء المملكة

ستقدم شركة المستقبل للاستشارات الهندسية والبيئية، ومن خلال الاتفاقية التي وقعتها مع شركة مياه العقبة، خدمات هندسية وفنية لإدارة مشاريع شركة مياه العقبة على مدار 36 شهرا. ولهذه الاتفاقية أهمية في اشراك القطاع الخاص المحلي والمساهمة في تنفيذ مشاريع مشتركة وتطوير قدرات الشركات العاملة في قطاع المياه. 

The Minister of Water and Irrigation, Eng. Raed Abu Al-Saud, sponsored at his office in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Jordan Valley Authority, Eng. Hisham Al-Heesa, the Secretary-General of the Water Authority, Eng. Wael Al-Duwairi, the Chairman of the Directors Committee of the Aqaba Water Company, Mahmoud Al-Nuaimat, the General Manager of the company, Eng. Malik Al-Rawashdeh, and a delegation from the Water and Environment Office of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to sign a set of agreements with a grant provided by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) within the (FARA) series of projects under the program to reduce water losses operating in all All over the Kingdom

MOSTAQBAL Engineering and Environmental Consultants, through the agreement it signed with Aqaba Water Company, will provide engineering and technical services to manage Aqaba Water Company’s projects over a period of 36 months. This agreement is important in involving the local private sector, contributing to the implementation of joint projects and developing the capabilities of companies operating in the water sector.
