Description of Project:
The project aim to assess the conditions of the existing Concrete Structure & Water Drainage Facilities “Box Culverts” located in the Northern governorates (Irbid, Mafraq, Jerash and Ajloun) in the Kingdom, the assessment work include the structural stability of them and provide solutions for the needed maintenance works or re-designing in case they need to be demolished.
The project include the following components:
- Conducting all necessary Laboratory tests to evaluate the condition of the available structures, provide recommendations for the maintenance works or if they need to be re-constructed.
- Prepare detailed design for the needed maintenance works for the facilities; Concrete (bridges) and Rainwater drainage facilities.
- Prepare plans for all obstacles at site; define the proposed locations for existing structure to be relocated during construction works and provide solutions for any needed Traffic diversions and traffic signals within the sites.
- Preparation of hydrological studies, which include calculating the amount of flow and the speed of flow.
Services Provided:
- Assessment of current situation study through the following:
-Conduct field visits for visual assessment
-Initial condition assessment for the Concrete structures (bridges) and Rainwater drainage Structures (box culverts), prepare assessment report include all structures, its conditions, recommendations for maintenance works or re-construction.
-Prepare hydrological studies including rainfall rates, intensity, and assessment for the Rainwater Drainage structures; box culverts, Pipes and water drainage networks
-Prepare Cost estimate
- Prepare a detailed Design Tender Documents and Design Reports including a hydrology and hydraulic studies for either the maintenance works or the new proposed Concrete structures (bridges) and Rainwater drainage Structures
