Description of Project*: Prepare studies and designs for the new Mafraq Governmental Hospital in order to improve the level of health care services provided in Mafraq Governorate, the project comprised of: 1. Preparing a Master plan for the New Hospital with a capacity of (250) beds and able to be expanded to 350 beds, the master plan shall take into consideration the ability to maintain all medical services and care provided in the current hospital until the completion of the construction of the new hospital, thus a phasing plan is required The first phase of project will be establishment of the new Ambulance, Emergency and Dialysis building. The site area of the hospital is 59 donums, expected area for the new hospital will be 38,000 sqm, evaluation will be made for the current hospital buildings, “the current hospital comprised of scattered buildings and one new building “Medical Rehabilitation Center” in order to determine the buildings that need renovation and others has to be demolished. Based on that Master plan design will be prepared in addition to concept architectural design for the Hospital. 2. Prepare detailed design and tender documents for the Emergency, Ambulance and Dialysis building having BUA of 4,500 sqm.
Services: • Topography survey for the site and existing infrastructure services. • Preparation of As Built Drawings for all existing buildings. • Soil investigation. • Structural tests for the existing buildings to indicate which buildings will be retained or those that will be demolished. • Preparing a master plan for the project's buildings showing the main blocks, roads, zoning plan and determine the buildings that need to be demolished and others need rehabilitation. • Study of electromechanical systems for buildings. • Preparing the concept architectural design for the construction of the new hospital with a capacity of 250 beds, taking into consideration that hospital might be expanded to 350 beds, showing the buildings that will be retained or demolished. • Environmental and traffic impact study. • Prepare detailed design and tender documents for the Ambulance, Emergency and Dialysis building, including medical equipment planning and the gas network with total BUA of 4,500 sqm. • 3D Perspectives and poster images of the project. Prepare a video for the project (5 minutes).
