عقدت شركة المستقبل للاستشارات الهندسية والبيئية جلسة تشاورية خاصة بدراسة تقييم الأثر البيئي لمشروع إنشاء محطة معالجة ميكانيكية بيولوجية للنفايات، بالتعاون مع أمانة عمان الكبرى، بنك التعمير الألماني، التعاون الألماني، شركة CDM Smith ووزارة البيئة الأردنية.  وحيث حضر الجلسة عدد من الجهات الحكومية في عمان، بما في ذلك وزارة المياه والري، وزارة الزراعة، وزارة الطاقة والثروة المعدنية، وزارة السياحة والآثار، وزارة الصناعة والتجارة والتموين، الجمعية الملكية لحماية الطبيعة، وزارة الأشغال العامة والإسكان، وزارة النقل، وزارة العمل، وجمعيات خيرية محلية من المناطق القريبة من المشروع.

تم عرض المشروع للحضور وتزويد الاستشاري بالتغذية الراجعة من خلال تعبئة استبيانات تم توزيعها في بداية الجلسة. نتج عن هذه الجلسة تصور أفضل للقضايا البيئية والاجتماعية المتوقعة من قبل الاستشاري و الحضور من خلال المناقشة الفعالة ومشاركة الآراء حول المشروع ومكوناته.

MOSTAQBAL Engineering and Environmental Consultants held a scoping session to study the environmental impact assessment of the Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) plant project, in collaboration with the Greater Amman Municipality, KfW Development Bank, German Cooperation, CDM Smith, and the Jordanian Ministry of Environment. The session was attended by numerous government agencies in Amman, including the Ministry of Water and Irrigation, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply, Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature, Ministry of Public Works and Housing, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Labor, and local charitable organizations from areas close to the project.

The project was presented to the attendees, who provided feedback to the consultant through scoping forms distributed at the beginning of the session. This session resulted in a better understanding of the expected environmental and social issues, both from the consultant and the attendees, through effective discussion and sharing of opinions about the project and its components.
