حصل مرصد طيور العقبة مؤخراً على المركز الثاني ضمن الوجهات الخضراء الأكثر استدامة في العالم في المعرض التجاري السياحي في برلين. وقد حصل مرصد الطيور على تكريم فئة “البيئة والمناخ” لاستخدامه الفريد لمياه الصرف الصحي المعالجة للحفاظ على بيئاته، مما يجعله مثالاً على التكيف مع التحديات المناخية الإقليمية.
