Description of Project: The Works comprise the installation/construction and completion of the HLP Carnallite Dewatering unit including:
- The construction of new steel structure building (HLP Carnallite Dewatering Building).
- Fabrication, Supply & Installation of two Splitting boxes for the centrifuge feed.
- Installation of new five Carnallite dewatering centrifuges.
- Installation of new Belt conveyor.
- Installation of new two Wash repulp tank pumps.
- Design, Fabrication, Supply & Installation of new Flush water tank.
- Supply & Installation of new Flush Water Tank pump.
Services Provided:
- Review the Contractor's submittals for materials, shop drawings and mockups for compliance with the Contract requirements.
- Inspect the construction works for compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Select samples as necessary for inspection as well as for testing by the Contractor to check adherence by the Contractor to the quality set by the Contract.
- Monitor the QA/QC procedures followed by the Contractor. This will cover the inspections as well as tests that will be carried out by the Contractor of all materials and equipment.
- Receive and review the "As-Built" drawings, Instruction, and Maintenance Manuals for equipment prepared by the Contractor and submit copies to APC upon finalization of the same.
- Ensure that the Contractor complies with the necessary requirements for environmental mitigation and protection of the environment.
- Review and approve Contractor’s submitted guarantees and warrantees.
- Prepare an inspection report following each visit, identifying detected defects, and recommending appropriate actions.
