The project aims to improve the wastewater network in Petra district. The scope of work entailed the design of primary and secondary sewer networks, household connections, and lifting stations in key locations in Petra district. The total length of the networks is 35 km, divided into 4 packages as follows:

• Package (1) / Southern area of the main Wadi Mousa Road, of total 9.5 km length
• Package (2) / Northern area of the main Wadi Mousa Road of total 9.5 km length
• Package (3) / Ferdous suburb of total 10 km length
• Package (4) / Taibeh area of total 6.15 km length

The project works also included a VO of additional road of 0.5 km length and a box culvert at Al-Taibeh area.
