Madounah area – located within Uhud district at 14 km east to Amman city centre– contains the Ghabawi Landfill, considered to be the largest landfill in Jordan and the project area is adjacent to the Amman East 370 MW Power Plant.   Madounah logistic area in Amman is one of the Euro-Mediterranean logistic platforms and the project aims at determining the technical feasibility, economic/financial viability and environmental/social sustainability of the logistics area components: the Amman Dry Ports and the Logistics Centre.
